Bitte beachtet, dass ich die Info bzgl. den derzeitigen Vorwürfen gegen #tilllindemann erst NACH dem Video upload erhalten habe und derzeit noch am recherchieren bin was genau passiert ist, bzw. vorgeworfen wird. Dies ändert nichts an der Sache, dass das Lied "Zeit" ein tiefgründiges, und meiner Meinung nach, notwendiges Lied ist, und sich mit Thematik auseinandersetzt, mit der wir uns alle befassen sollten.
Hoffe ihr könnt das Video und meine Gedanken dazu trotzdem geniessen. Schön, dass ihr da seit. Vergesst nicht zu ABONNIEREN! :)
Hallo Rosalie! Erstmal Danke dass du das hier erstmal trennst und nicht aus Angst alles von dir schiebst was mit Rammstein zutun hat. Leider ist das bei einigen Menschen gerade zu beobachten.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen dass an den Vorwürfen was dran ist auch wenn es nur meine persönliche Meinung ist. Aber die Band ist seit zig Jahren unterwegs und wurde ständig angegangen weil sie auch manchmal auf grausame Art den Menschen den Spiegel vorhält. Viele lieben das an Rammstein, aber noch mehr Menschen verstehen es nicht und suchen permanent Gründe gegen die Band. Alle paar Jahre werden Vorwürfe wegen angeblichem Hang zu rechtsextremen Verhalten rausgehauen obwohl sie genau das Gegenteil in ihrer Musik erzählen aber lyrisch so gut verpackt dass wie gesagt viele nicht verstehen oder verstehen wollen.
Und mal ganz ehrlich und allgemein betrachtet, ein 60 jähriger Mann der seit Monaten auf Tour ist, soll nach 2 Stunden Konzert noch so viel Energie übrig haben um so einen Mist zu fabrizieren? Ich kann es mir einfach nicht vorstellen.... Zumal von dem mutmaßlichen Opfer auch immer Details bekannt werden bezüglich Drogen und wie sie sich auf dem Konzert verhalten hat, sie ist mit ihrem Verhalten hunderten Menschen aufgefallen was definitiv sehr ungewöhnlich ist bei 60T Konzertbesuchern.

@@sn2322 verstehe sehr gut was du meinst und danke dir auch für dein freundliches Kommentar und, dass du deine Meinung dazu geäußert hast. Das Thema ist def kompliziert, da ich auf jeden Fall gegen Gewalt bin aber leider die andere Seite auch so ist, dass Menschen heutzutage das unfassbare tun und sagen um Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen. Ist schwierig, weil ich nun nicht da war. Werde wie gesagt weiter recherchieren und evtl im nächsten Video dann ein paar Dinge sagen. Mal schauen.
@@rosalieelliottofficial Du hast Recht und jeder sollte sich seine eigene Meinung bilden und nicht einfach auf einen Zug aufspringen. Schade ist halt nur dass diese Vorwürfe hier in Deutschland durch alle Medien gingen und dann auch die Staatsanwaltschaft anfing gegen Till zu ermitteln. ( Das mutmaßliche Opfer hat nämlich gar keine Anzeige erstattet). Die Ermittlungen wurden wieder ohne Ergebnis eingestellt aber das wiederum wurde in den Medien nicht erwähnt. Solange die Sensation groß ist wird angeblich gut recherchiert und wenn es sich wieder etwas relativiert ist es ganz still... Jetzt hab ich genug gelabert, viel Glück bei deiner Recherche! Ich bin gespannt!

Hallo Rosalie, viele Grüße aus Deutschland und danke für deine Reaktion. Sie hat mich daran erinnert, was für ein Meisterstück Song und Video sind und wie sehr sie mich ergriffen hatten. All dies war durch die Ereignisse der letzten Zeit in den Hintergrund geraten. Was die Anschuldigungen gegenüber insbesondere Till Lindemann betrifft: die Lage ist total unübersichtlich im Moment, auch wenn man sich wie ich mit einem gewissen Erfahrungsschatz (ich bin Ende 50) und vor Ort in Deutschland intensiv damit beschäftigt. Das ganze Thema inklusive der Rolle der journalistischen und sozialen Medien birgt enormes gesellschaftliches Diskussionspotenzial und es ist aus meiner Sicht einfach noch zu früh, um etwas dazu zu sagen. Was ich aber aus meiner Sicht feststellen kann, ist, dass ich bislang selten ein so gutes künstlerisches Statement zum Thema Endlichkeit gesehen habe, das offensichtlich auch viele so berührt wie mich. Was kann man besseres über Kunst sagen, als dass sie nachdenklich macht, ergreift, verstört - und tröstet, und dafür ist einem Künstler erst einmal ein Dank geschuldet.

Herr Lindemann ist unschuldig. Sämtliche Vorwürfe sind von der Staatsanwaltschaft anhand fehlender Beweise aller Anschuldigungen, fallen gelassen worden. Keines dieser vermeintlichen "Opfer" war bereit bei der Staatsanwaltschaft Anklage zu erheben.
Die Causa Lindemann war wieder einmal eine typische Vorverurteilung seitens der Medien und der Ultra-Feministinnen in den Social Media Szene. Wie es in der Vergangenheit bereits öfter geschehen, wurde versucht, erfolgreiche Männer durch falsche Anschuldigungen in den Ruin ( Jörg Kachelmann, Jonny Depp ) bzw. in den Selbstmord ( Luke Modridge )zu treiben. In Deutschland gilt die Unschuldsvermutung, das heißt die Beweislast liegt beim Kläger und der Beklagte gilt bis zur richterlichen Verurteilung als unschuldig. Solch erfundene Anschuldigungen schaden den wirklichen Opfern sexueller Gewalt.
Ich würde es begrüßen, wenn Sie weiterhin Rammstein reacten. Sie sind viel mehr als nur eine Metal Band. Ich empfehle ihnen die Ballade OHNE DICH oder DALAI LAMA ( eine neue Version auf Goethe`s DER ERLKÖNIG ) ANGST und ADIEU.
Die Videos der beiden Letztgenannten sind wahre Meisterstücke.

Yeah this song means so much to me. My friend was losing her battle with cancer when it came out.
The last time I saw her I showed her this, we had "the perfect moment" just standing in the sun having a big long hug. I can still feel it a year & 1 month on. I miss her so much. I wanted the time to stand still cos my world shattered when she passed. It was unfair that the world kept going when hers stopped. I'm like 10 years older than her, it's so unfair.

Ich war erst in Budapest auf dem Rammsteinkonzert...Fantastisch, das ist der Unterschied von Musik hören zu Musik fühlen...nicht nur was die Lautstärke angeht. Wahnsinn
Omg. Ich habe das lied tatsächlich im Februar das erste mal gehört. Es war im auto als ich meinen 3 jährigen Sohn vom Kindergarten abholte. Eine woche später verlor ich meinen Sohn. Er starb plötzlich und unerwartet. Es ist etwas über 4 Monate her. Höre den Song seit dem zum ersten mal und merke wie der gesamte text so viel mehr Bedeutung für mich bekommen hat. Ich kann es kaum glauben. Dachte gerade, ich breche zusammen als ich die Melodie hörte. Aber der text bringt eine art klarheit und Selbstverständlichkeit.... Schwer zu erklären.
Wahnsinns Lied. Danke Till. Danke Rammstein. Jede noch so kleine Hilfe bringt mich als verwaisten vater wieder nach vorne. 😢

Da fühle ich mit dir. Am 28. April saß mein Sohn (21) genau so, wie die Tochter des Farmers mit dem Kopf an meiner Schulter. Am Abend hatte er eine Hirnblutung und wir konnten nur noch bei ihm sein um ihn bei seinen letzten Atemzügen zu begleiten. Jedes mal, wenn ich diese Szene sehe bin ich total fertig. Bleib stark!
@@berndn168 am 28. April? Genau zwei Monate nach meinem kleinen. Tut mir so leid. Mein Maxi starb an einem Hirnödem. Aber selbst die ausführliche Obduktion könnte die Ursache dafür nicht finden. Wir rennen von einer Trauergruppe in die nächste, zu Psychologen usw usw. . aber am Ende sitz man halt doch weinend Zuhause und wünscht sich die Dialoge mit seinem Kind zurück. Und natürlich die liebe die man geben durfte und bekam.

The song ‘Angst’ from the same album also has an amazing video, probably my favorite. ‘Adieu’ is also amazing, but as it’s full of references to older videos, you may want to wait a bit on that one.

I think, the 3 hooded figures refer to the 3 norns Urd, Skuld and Verdandi of northern mythology. They were said to be wise women from beyond time representing the past (Urd), present (Verdandi) and future (Skuld). The 3 spirits in "A Cristmas Carol" and your example "The Timekeepers" may refer to them too.
And they are controlling and defending the flow of time. They also care for the world tree Yggdrasil.
Flake has said so in an interview IIRC

I was in the room when my grandpa died, along with my mother, my uncle, their stepsister, and my grandma. He had been sick for a long time. My grandma didn't want to let him go, but said that if God wanted him, she knew she had to. I think within half an hour after she said that, he passed. I was only twelve, but even back then I felt honoured that I was the only grandchild there.
Vielen Dank. Schön zu sehen, dass Rammstein nach wie vor geschätzt wird. Eine großartige Band die ich seit ihrem ersten Album "Herzeleid" (bald 30 Jahre her) verfolge. Die frühen Sachen gefallen mir aber mehr, insbesondere "Sonne", "Mein Herz brennt", "Ohne Dich" und "Reise, Reise". Aber auch einige neuere Sachen wie "Zeit", "Deutschland" und auch einige Songs vom Soloprojekt Lindemann (z.B. "Steh auf", oder "Knebel"). Ich hoffe Du machst mit dieser Band weiter.
Davon abgesehen, dass ich deine Videos so mag, weil du mit einem anderen Blickwinkel auf die Lieder reagierst, liebe ich es, wenn du deutsch redest. 😉

I was waiting for this for a long time. I knew it would be perfect for your channel and you'd have a lot to say about it. Rammstein is just amazing in every way. Their lyrics are poetic, deep, often with multiple meanings and they are not afraid to talk about topics that most people avoid. I hope you will continue reacting to their music. You surely can avoid those most provocative or sexual songs (although even they have deeper/double meaning). But there are lots of songs that would also be perfect for your channel and analysis. I'll let others to recommend because for me every their song will be perfect.

I’ve watched a lot of people react to this track, but your response to the “unbirthing” scene is the one that best encapsulates my reaction.
I'm 55 years old now and I notice how time is running out. I still want to experience so much, and maybe one day I'll wake up and realize it's too late. Such thoughts eventually lead to the question: What is time? What is future, what is present, what is past? Time is a concept to make the world comprehensible. Future: it is in front of you, first far away, then it races towards you and in the next second it is already past. How long is the present, the word I am speaking right now is already past when it leaves my mouth. And what is the past? I can reflect on what I have experienced. So past is memories, isn't it? No, they are only a part, then there are the facts, the day I graduated from high school, the day my mother died, the day I was born. All part of my past. And before that? Another past that I didn't experience myself, but that still somehow shaped who I am. And everyone experiences something different, everyone has a different past. Individual past versus universal past? What is past? For me, time is a concept that we humans have created ourselves in order to understand the world, in order to understand what is going on around us. And yet it is there somehow. And the moment I die, will time just stop for me? No thoughts, no feelings left after death? Will there be just nothing? There the concept of time falls apart. No future, no present, no past. But yet time moves on, for all what there is to be after me. Thanks for this reaction on this song.

the song makes me cry every time, it is SOOO relatable. after listening to this for this first time, i try my best to cherish every moment because next thing you know the moment is gone. i always look back wishing i could’ve cherish those perfect moments. always always cherish life and try to enjoy it, time is slow but if you’re not IN the moment yk it goes by so so fast. this song made me try to love life and cherish the moments i have left, i have a lot of time but i need to be in the moment more and cherish it.

The three hooded figures are timekeepers (Zeithuter) inspired by the norns, from northern Germanic mythology. The three norns are Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld and represent the past, present , and future and are present at each persons birth. They reside at the base of Yggdrasil and use it's roots and branches to weave the fate of all living things in the world. They are very powerful and their actions are often seen as inevitable and unchanging. Thank you again for your beautiful insights into this masterpiece.

My partner was with his father when he passed, it was of covid so it was just the two of them. He waited 20 minutes before he called anyone. I think it was a very special and intense moment.

Toll! I really love this song.. it´s powerful, and every time I am with my son (he's 2yo), with my family, it's 'den perfekten Moment'. It's hard to see the moments getting always farther away in the memory. The pictures of him being a newborn, his first year, etc. This experience is really powerful, and the song take this power and condenses it within a couple of minutes.
A suggestion for a song with an interesting topic is Concrete Landscapes, by Kalandra. Just discovered the band, and this song is roaming my head all day long!

these Specter Berlin videos are Rammstein's masterpieces and there's a good case to add 'Angst' to them as well..just leagues above everything else in my humble opinion
Love your reaction! All songs from their last album 'Zeit' are just great. Please do some more Rammstein - because I find it is just great to watch a reactor that understands the text.
Zick Zack - their take on plastic surgery; Angst - addressing the xenophobia (both great videos). A fun one to do is Dicke Titten... that video has a lot of other references, but is somewhat distracting (and I will understand if you do not want to do that one).

There seems to be a couple of common threads through all the reactions I've seen to this video. Everybody that sees it seems to be so emotionally drained by the time it's over, and all they can say is "masterpiece". It certainly is that. Everybody feels this one.

I usually don't comment to reaction videos or share personal things, but I had to tell a little bit about my experience as I saw my father pass at home after being sick for a long time and how it relates to what you say about the stillness and the somber mood when someone dies. At the same time, the calmness.
I think I felt it when he died. In the moments prior, there was a kind of restleness - I pacing back and forth - as he was lying in the bed. He couldn't speak, but I knew what it was - his time was ending.
Then, it happened. The notion of time was relative in those moments and I felt like a sense of awkward calmness - something had ended and I just stood there. Motionless but calm.
That marked me, as much as the moment I had to move him a bit lower in the bed. The numbness of that body... I can't even recall if he was heavy or light, it was just a motionless body, and that hit me so much.
Sorry for sharing my story here. But well, here it is.

Letztgenannter Song ist aber so voller Referenzen auf alte Songs und Erlebnisse von Rammstein, dass der Song eher etwas „für später“ ist (ich hatte dazu mal meine Interpretation aufgeschrieben, ist etwas länger geworden, kann ich gerne mal zusenden). „Angst“ hingegen würde ich als nächsten Song sehr anraten 😎

@@rosalieelliottofficialBasically, Till has been accused for sexual assaults and drugging women. There is an investigation going on right now, but there has been not a single proof fot any of that. Those are all third party accusations, no proofs, and at the other side there are some really bad things happening politically in Germany (from my understanding), some activists are going crazy, they are protesting, journalists are writing some really wild, completely false stuff only to scare people even more and so on. All in all, if you ask me, it is just one more attempt to cancel "a creepy rock band". But the band seems to stand strong. They were very visibly shaken at the beginning, but it seems that the things are calming down. Most of the fans are showing a huge amount of support and it seems that they have recovered a bit.
We'll see... But.. Wir halten zusammen! Knowing all that I know about them, I honestly don't think that anything illegal has happened.
Edit: I have been really trying to be polite and respectful, trying not to sound as "victim blaming" ('cause everyone is so sensitive these days and the words are interpreted in a way people want to interpret them), otherwise I would have much more information. Just saying... 🫤
